In the East Neuk, by Kingsbarns, Cambo Gardens has a Makers Market every weekend from the 26th of November onwards, where you can pick up arts and crafts gifts for family and friends from local artisans. It’s a great way to make your Christmas shopping enjoyable this year and soak up the atmosphere as you browse. (Weekends 26 Nov – 11 Dec)
Between Elie and St Monans, Bowhouse Market runs throughout the festive period and all year round, so make sure you pay it a visit, whatever time of the year you plan to visit this part of the world! Bowhouse brings together local growers, producers and ingredients under one roof, highlighting the fantastic produce on our doorstep here in Fife. Their December markets will be choc-full of festive produce, sure to get even the grumpiest in the Christmas spirit!

Falkland Estate, Festive Felting Workshop
Make your own Christmas decorations with a crafting workshop to get you into the festive spirit. You would never know they were made using natural and recycled materials. Discovery Point Christmas Market, Dundee
A beautiful Christmas market to help with your Christmas shopping, with everything from cheese, gin, game, beer and seafood to jewellery, ceramics, tweed accessories, silks & wool – all lovingly handmade in Scotland! Falkland Late Night Christmas Markets are also back!
With local makers and crafters offering a range of artisan goods, the lovely shops, bars and restaurants in Falkland will open for a great afternoon and evening of shopping. 23rd and 30th plus 7th December 2 pm – 9 pm.
Kinkell Byre Christmas Market, St Andrews, will host their atmospheric market at the Byre venue, just outside St. Andrews. Check out their amazing collection of handmade Scottish Arts, Crafts and Food. You can see techniques passed down through the centuries and more modern methods. Street Food and hot drinks will be available on both days. 10-11 Dec 2022 @ 10 am-3 pm.

In the heart of old St Andrews, you can find all you need for a fun, festive day! Facepainting, Santa’s Grotto, Games, Crafts, and loads of lovely locally-made gifts and stocking fillers. Admission is free. Visits with Santa in a magical Santa’s Grotto are £8 and include a chat with Santa and a wrapped gift with love for your wee bairn!
Fancy taking in a Christmas Show?
The Byre Theatre in the heart of St Andrews has a pantomime every Christmas season. This year, it is the Christmas classic of Cinderella. Dundee Rep is also putting Cinderella on if you visit there – or A Christmas Carol for the older ones! You can also see a variety of National Theatre Live recorded shows at the Byre and many other shows besides in Dundee if Panto is different from your thing!
Christmas concert, Crail Community Hall
On Sunday evening, the large hall will be resounding with joyful music, from traditional hymns to modern seasonal tunes. The Madrigal Group from St Andrews will perform a more traditional repertoire. The second half will see a contemporary A Cappella performance by the Hummingbirds.
