Why visit the East Neuk Of Fife?

This part of Fife may be small and a little bit separate, that is what makes it so special. It has retained its small village life charm and history with fishing towns, tidal bathing pools, museum, local ruins and more heritage to explore.

The locals have protected the charm of the area so much that there are miles and miles of lovingly maintained beaches, lush fields and wildlife reserves to experience. That includes more than 20 miles of the Fife Coastal path and the Isle of May nature reserve – access by boat only from Anstruther and home to native puffins!

Golf in the East Neuk of Fife

One reason many travel to the East Neuk of Fife – including many international visitors – is for the Golf Holidays

The historic home of golf is in St Andrews at the Old Course where it’s said the first game was played over 600 years ago. The famous course recently played host to the AIG Women’s open for the third time, and many other championships choose Fife as a base as well.

Kingsbarns Link Golf Course is another frequent addition on any golfer’s bucket list and is often included on Top 100 Worldwide Golf Course lists for its unique layout.

There are more than 40 other courses dotted throughout the region, but these two famous additions, and several others, are in the East Neuk for you to book a tee time.
