Golf Retreat is a spacious, detached property located on a quiet cul-de-sac just a mile from the heart of St Andrews. Perfect for families or couples, it provides an ideal base for exploring the town’s beautiful beaches, charming cafés, historic attractions, and world-famous golf courses, while still offering a peaceful and relaxing place to unwind.
The property comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious super king bed, while the other two bedrooms are arranged as twins. All beds are zip-and-link, providing flexible sleeping arrangements to suit your group. Two small dogs are also welcome if you’d like to bring your four-legged companions along. **pet fee applies**
One of the property’s standout features is the south-facing, landscaped garden. Accessed through double doors from the living room, it offers a delightful decked and patio area designed for relaxed outdoor living — perfect for morning coffees, al fresco lunches, evening drinks, and summer barbecues.
If the Scottish weather turns, guests can enjoy the comfortable indoor dining area and well-equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and a full range of cooking utensils. The ground floor also features a shower room with WC and wash basin, with complimentary toiletries provided, including shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, and soap.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be notified to and received by us in writing (preferably by email) and once received we will confirm and process your cancellation request.
We offer Flexible Cancellation which removes the stress and worry of booking your holiday. You can cancel your booking and obtain a full refund of the lodging costs you have paid for up to ninety (90) days before the Holiday Commencement Date. For example, if your Holiday Commencement Date is a Saturday, then you can cancel as late as the prior Saturday. However, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible about your cancellation.
If you cancel in less than 90 days of the Holiday Commencement Date then date, you may be due a partial refund from your booking:
- Between 90 days – 30 days of the Holiday Commencement Date will refund 35% less of the total accommodation cost (the “Deposit”)
- Less than 30 days of the Holiday Commencement Date no refund will be issued (100% of the holiday cost will be forfeited), as we will have incurred costs and are unlikely to be able to re-let our accommodation in such short period of time.
For this reason, we strongly recommend you take out your own travel insurance for UK holidays which covers booking cancellations. This will give you the peace of mind that you will get your money back if you need to cancel your holiday at almost the last minute. If you choose not to, you accept responsibility for any loss you may incur due to your cancellation.
