The property is light and fresh and has a lovely character feel.The pet-friendly property is ideal for a small family with one double bed and a bunk bed, accommodating four guests. On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, and on the first floor, two bedrooms and a cosy lounge with a comfortable sofa, TV, books, and maps of the local area.
You will find The Haven pub overlooking the tranquil little harbour surrounded by unique buildings right around the corner. Well worth a visit if you are passing through Cellardyke. Close to pubs, shops, cafes, take-aways, restaurants, and much more, all within a very short drive.
Experience locally sourced ingredients from our coastline and countryside, from the famous Anstruther Fish Bar to the Michelin-starred restaurant The Cellar, accommodating all tastes.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be notified to and received by us in writing (preferably by email) and once received we will confirm and process your cancellation request.
We offer Flexible Cancellation which removes the stress and worry of booking your holiday. You can cancel your booking and obtain a full refund of the lodging costs you have paid for up to ninety (90) days before the Holiday Commencement Date. For example, if your Holiday Commencement Date is a Saturday, then you can cancel as late as the prior Saturday. However, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible about your cancellation.
If you cancel in less than 90 days of the Holiday Commencement Date then date, you may be due a partial refund from your booking:
- Between 90 days – 30 days of the Holiday Commencement Date will refund 35% less of the total accommodation cost (the “Deposit”)
- Less than 30 days of the Holiday Commencement Date no refund will be issued (100% of the holiday cost will be forfeited), as we will have incurred costs and are unlikely to be able to re-let our accommodation in such short period of time.
For this reason, we strongly recommend you take out your own travel insurance for UK holidays which covers booking cancellations. This will give you the peace of mind that you will get your money back if you need to cancel your holiday at almost the last minute. If you choose not to, you accept responsibility for any loss you may incur due to your cancellation.

Sandpiper provided the perfect little bolt hole for our stay in Anstruther. We had everything we needed; sandpiper was warm and well appointed and located right at the harbour which was beautiful. There is also a corner shop five minutes walk away and the staff there are so friendly. A home from home.

"Fantastic location for walks & local pubs/restaurants. Property is extremely well equipped for your stay - kitchen etc has everything you would need. Cozy place, welcoming and homely. Very clean & tidy. Can’t park immediately at property however once in we didn’t use our car much & were able to park easily & safely about a 3 minute walk away. No phone signal but WiFi excellent & we had no issues."
